Privacy Policy
This policy describes the current version of ArcadeGamingWorld at arcadegamingworld.com. It explains what the games store on your device and which services are involved when you visit.
1. Games and accounts
You can play without creating an ArcadeGamingWorld account. The current games do not ask for your name, email address, payment details, or location. Gameplay runs in your browser; the site does not upload your moves or personal-best scores to an ArcadeGamingWorld server.
2. Scores stored on your device
Selected games save a personal-best score using your browser's local storage, with keys beginning agw-. Your saved game favorites are stored on the same device under agw-favorites-v1. Your sound on/off choice and effects volume are stored under agw-audio-v1. Sound effects are synthesized on your device; the site does not request microphone access or record audio. This storage helps show your best result on later visits. It is separate for each browser and device and is not a public leaderboard.
Scores remain until you clear the site's browser data or your browser removes them. You can delete them through your browser's site-data settings for arcadegamingworld.com. Clearing this data resets saved scores, favorites, and sound preferences. You can remove individual favorites using their heart buttons. Favorites do not require an account and are not uploaded to a server. If storage is unavailable, favorites may last only for the current visit. Private browsing or blocked storage may prevent scores from being retained.
3. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The current game code does not set cookies or include advertising networks, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or an email subscription form. Local score storage is used as described above. If advertising, analytics, or other data-collecting features are added, this policy will need to be updated and applicable notices or consent controls implemented before those features are enabled.
4. Hosting and font services
The public website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub states that visitor IP addresses are logged and stored for security purposes, whether or not visitors are signed in. GitHub's processing is described in its Privacy Statement and GitHub Pages documentation.
The site requests fonts from Google Fonts. Loading those fonts connects your browser to Google's servers, which receive the network information needed to deliver the font files, such as your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google Fonts information. These service providers manage their own data practices and retention.
5. Contact and external links
You can contact ArcadeGamingWorld at [email protected]. If you send an email, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your request, resolve support issues, and follow up where needed. Messages are processed through Gmail, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. We retain correspondence as needed to handle your request and related follow-up. To ask about or request deletion of your support correspondence, email the same address.
Selecting an email link opens your email app so you can review and send your message. The website does not send a message automatically and does not provide an on-site contact form.
Links to external sites are governed by those sites' privacy practices. Opening them may share normal browser request information with those services.
6. Children's information
The current games do not request personal information from players, including children. Children should not send personal information in support messages. A parent or guardian with a concern can email [email protected] without including unnecessary personal information about a child.
7. Your choices and questions
You can play without an account, clear stored scores and favorites, avoid external links, and use your browser's privacy settings. For questions about this policy or a privacy concern, email [email protected] or visit Contact. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
8. Changes to this policy
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. This policy reflects the features included in the current site, rather than advertising or services that may be considered in the future.
Daily challenges and sharing
Daily challenge progress is saved in your browser on this device. Sharing happens only when you choose a share or copy button. Your chosen messaging or social app handles anything you send.
Facebook sharing
Choosing Share on Facebook opens Facebook with the public game link. Facebook handles its own sign-in, privacy settings, and posting process. Nothing is posted automatically, and Facebook sharing does not create an account on this website.
Optional audience analytics
When analytics is enabled and you choose Allow analytics, Google Analytics measures page visits, game opens, supported game starts and completed runs, and recommendation clicks. You can decline and still play all games. Use Analytics preferences in the footer to change your choice. We configure advertising personalisation and Google Signals off for this analytics integration. Google may process device and browser information as part of analytics. Your choice is saved in this browser.
When this analytics feature has not been configured, it does not load Google Analytics or collect analytics events. Advertising consent, if applicable, is managed separately.
